So I spent hours and hours trying to fix my code, but I've been getting errors:
mmsystem.h(103) : error C2146: syntax error : missing ';' before identifier 'MMVERSION'
etc...
Apparently order does matter for include files. Correct way to import mmsystem.h is to include it after windows.h
