What’s Next?

After finishing QuicklyCMS, I was itching to get back to OpenGL programming. I opened up my old summer-fall project which was called flyght eyght. I realized how shitty the name sounded (or looked), so I definitely will decide on a new name.
So far, the only job my sceneManager is handling is depth sorting the transparent objects in the scene. I'm tempted to re-write most of the code to get sceneManager a bigger part of this project. About 75% of the code is located in the renderScene method which isn't a good idea. The hierachy tree for my objects need a re-do as well.
I do have the level completely planned out in my head. I need to research on some dynamic skies and/or environmental lighting. I originally planned on trying to not have any sort of lighting in the whole entire project simply because they are quite costly.
More on this soon...
Update: sometimes you got to bite the bullet. Yes, I've decided to rewrite most of the code since most of it doesn't even make sense to me at all and everything was just done in the wrong way.
