Not now.

I'm still holding off on even starting the 3D game project over again. I want to make sure I do things right this time. I thought up about 30% of the actual organization of the whole game in my head at the moment. I'm still having trouble on how to decide the traversing method of the player. Should every point be scripted? or would the paths be procedural (equation based)? If I go the scripted method, complex routes would be a pain to manually put in point by point. If I go the procedural method, I can probably get by quickly with the routes the player takes, but would be quite confusing to implement. I'm most likely going ahead with the scripted method and develop a small path application that can retrieve points from complex equations and generate code from it.
Right now I'm looking for my next web development project while I'm still planning out my game. A Google apps project sounds really attractive at the moment.
